The Broadview team designed and installed a bespoke vehicle awning for The Toastie Bus, creating a dedicated preparation area on the non-serving side of the vehicle.
The installation included:
- A bespoke vehicle awning
- Full front enclosure
- Full side enclosures
- A fully enclosed preparation and storage area
- Integrated LED lighting within the awning arms
The full front and side enclosures transform the awning from a simple sheltered area into a fully enclosed workspace, giving the team valuable additional room for food preparation and storage away from the serving area.
The integrated LED lighting is another particularly useful feature. Built into the awning arms, the lights provide excellent illumination when the team is working after dark — an important consideration for festivals and events that continue into the evening.

The new awning has created a versatile, weather-protected working environment that can be used throughout the event season.
