The RNLI save lives by providing a lifeboat search and rescue service and lifeguards, as well as running campaigns that help to promote water safety and teach the public how to respond in the event of an emergency. In April 2017 the RNLI focussed on a particular campaign,'Respect The Water', which aimed to aid understanding of the steps to follow in the event that yourself or another individual finds themselves unexpectedly in deep, cold water.
THE SOLUTION
As a part of RNLI’s ‘Respect The Water’ campaign, they required branded banners to help spread their message during outdoor events whilst also serving the purpose of providing shelter.
After a consultation with RNLI the vehicle awnings team suggested a bespoke branded Anexe Pro 1 Awning roof system with an Anexe side and front enclosures. The entire structure was designed specifically to suit the RNLI branding and to fit their 5 VW T6 vans.
THE RESULT
We worked closely with the RNLI to provide a solution that fitted seamlessly with the fleet of vans, effectively promoted the 'Respect The Water' campaign and also provided shelter. The Anexe Pro 1 awning roof system offers a stable structure that can be dismantled quickly and easily.
During the completion of the promotional van awnings, we also quoted the client for and designed high level banners to help further promote their campaigns at events.


CLIENT FEEDBACK
Upon completion the client was very pleased with the van awnings and how they effectively promoted the brand as well as providing a sheltered area. The client has requested that we design awnings for the rest of the RNLI fleet at a later date.
