The owner of Mobile BBQ recently asked the team at Broadview to upgrade his Vauxhall catering van with one of our awning and side panel systems. As his work involves handling food, protecting his workspace from bad weather and the hot midday sun was key. The shading needed to provide enough shelter for him to set up his equipment and grill underneath, while also matching his company colours and branding.
The Solution
Once we had a good idea of what the client was looking for, we decided the Anexe Pro 1 awning would be the perfect fit. Not only is the Pro 1 strong and reliable, but it can also be set up quickly and with ease. This is especially important in such a fast-paced industry as catering. It can withstand wind forces of up to Force 6, guaranteeing to protect the client’s workspace from the worst the weather has to offer.
From our head office in Poole, we measured the client's work van and custom designed the awning to fit onto it perfectly. The awning boasts a spacious 2.8m width and 2m projection, providing more than enough room for the client to store their equipment underneath. To offer even more protection from the elements, we included two quick-fit side panels with windows. These panels will shield the client and his workspace from any potential rain or wind that comes their way.
We customised the client's awning to match seamlessly with his company and van. The hardware was produced in black powder-coated aluminium to blend with his vehicle, while the side panels were made from black fabric. The panels were also printed with the company's artwork, providing a unique touch that reinforced brand identity. This personalised design served as a free marketing tool while our client worked, showcasing his professionalism and making his business stand out from competitors.
The Results
Thanks to the exceptional coverage provided by the Pro 1 awning and side panels, the owner of Mobile BBQ can now cook and serve delicious food without worrying about the weather. The awning provides a cool and comfortable spot during hot summer days, while the side panels offer excellent protection during rainy weather.
