ATS Euromaster Awning

Just because the weather’s taken a turn, it shouldn’t limit your ability to run a business: our experts explain how a van awning can help.

Roadside assistance services have to work in all weathers. Come rain or shine, a vehicle awning can enable you to do your job to the best of your ability without worrying about the distraction of rain or blazing sunshine.

Rain

The primary weather condition that an awning can protect you from is the rain. For roadside assistance vehicles, it’s important that technicians can work without getting wet, and an awning can shelter you from even the heaviest showers. At Broadview, we can even install LED lighting into the arms of the awning for when the sky has clouded over.

Sun

When it comes to working outside, the sun can be just as much of a nuisance as the rain. A lot of sunshine can hinder your vision whilst you’re working, but with a vehicle awning, you can shield yourself from the sun with a roof. Our awnings can have transparent side panels, so you needn’t block out the sun completely.

Wind

Often, sun and rain aren’t as annoying to work in as strong wind. Gusts of wind can distract you from your work, but an awning can enable you to get on with your job. You can secure retractable screens on each side to the floor too, creating a pop up work room whenevr you need it.

Snow

Snow is a particularly difficult condition to work in, but given how much chaos it can cause on the road, it’s one that may cause you to be very busy. Aside from the obvious cover that an awning can offer you in snow, we can install heaters into your awning for if the weather starts to get chillier.
